Blind blind blind euh! part 2

...Once the crowd...euh...the band shows up, (they are 7 on stage), it is a rather abrasive flow of beauty and rage that pierces my ears. It's true that the last album, Thirteen blues for thirteen moons is filled with much more distorted guitar riffs. As usual Efrim pushes the boundaries of the record a little further once the band is live, since we hear songs composed for the next album, (not yet recorded I think). The passion is palpable. The guitar player is literally spitting the words out. The Silver mt Zion is pure energy combined with melodies and beauty.
The female part of the band produces gorgeous vocals as well as violin sounds from who knows where.
The whirring bass and the precise drums are the last ingredients of this alchemy.
Efrim makes one or two statements about The Police and the fact that they always write the same kind of song. I am not completely de accuerdo, here.
Sometimes I am just slightly dissapointed because the atmosphere lacks some of the peaceful and scary parts they wrote for their debut albums but one as the right to change and sacrifice some features of his identity to move toward something new, right?
Anyway I'll remember nothing but pleasure, here, and I think that few can create such a rapture today.
As their ancestors, (Pink Floyd/ Yes 70s/ Genesis 70s) Silver Mt zion are, as they said it at the time of GYBE, "clumsy kids tryin' to build cathedrals".

Your humble servant, (I hate "The Servants").
